Ziad Hab al-Reeh
General
Ziad Hab al-Reeh (زياد هب الريح) has headed
Preventive Security (PS) since August 2006. PS acts as the
Palestinian Authority‘s internal intelligence agency. He is also a member of
Fatah‘s
Revolutionary Council.
In January 2022, Hab al-Reeh became minister of interior, serving in the governments of prime ministers
Mohammad Shtayyeh and
Mohammad Mustafa.
Hab al-Reeh was born in Jenin and has been a long time Fatah activist in the West Bank – dating back to before the First Intifada.
