Local Elections (2004-2005)
Municipal elections were held in four rounds between December 2004 and December 2005 in both the West Bank and Gaza. Israeli-annexed East Jerusalem was excluded. These were the first municipal elections since 1976, and the first since the creation of the Palestinian Authority (PA). Voting mostly followed party lines, but in some cases family and tribal relations also played a role. Results can be found here.
