Khalil al-Bahtini*

Khalil al-Bahtini (خليل البهتيني) was a senior member of the Al-Quds Brigades (AQB) — the armed wing of Islamic Jihad (PIJ) — operating in northern Gaza. He reportedly replaced Baha Abu al-Ata who was assassinated by Israel in November 2019. Israel accused him of being behind a rocket launch directed at an election rally of Prime Minister Netanyahu in Ashkelon on 25 December 2019.  He was reportedly killed by Israel in August 2022.
