Faisal Aranki

Doctor Faisal Aranki (فيصل عرنكي), born in 1954 in Bir Zeit, is deputy chairman of the Ba’ath’ist Arab Liberation Front. He was elected to the PLO’s Executive Committee in May 2018.

He studied medicine in Iraq where he became close to the Arab Socialist Ba’ath party. In 1972, he reportedly helped establish the pro-Iraqi ALF. Since then, he has spent most of his life in the United States. Within the PLO, he heads the department for human development.
