ECFR’s Sofia office was established in October 2007 to engage the Bulgarian policy community in discussion about European foreign policy issues and to serve as an observation post for South Eastern Europe and the Caucases.
The office is hosted by the Centre for Liberal Strategies, a prominent Bulgarian think tank, headed by Ivan Krastev.
The Sofia office focuses on research, advocacy and public activities to further ECFR’s mission.
