Our work involves many issues relating to Europe and foreign policy, and our programmes focus on Africa, China, the Middle East and North Africa, and Wider Europe (Russia, Turkey, and the countries of the former Soviet Union). We are also heavily involved – through our European Power project – in the debate about the European Union’s response to issues affecting the EU’s capacity to act on the global scene.
