Biography
Daria Jankiel is the office and programme coordinator at the European Council on Foreign Relations, based in the Warsaw office.
Prior to joining ECFR in March 2024, Jankiel worked at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, and spent two years as a political officer at the EU delegation to Madagascar and the Comoros. As project manager at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, she organised two editions (online and hybrid) of the Warsaw Security Forum and has previous experience at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Jankiel holds a BA in European studies with French and German from Maynooth University, and has three MAs from the Jagiellonian University, the Sciences Po Strasbourg, and the College of Europe. She wrote her final thesis on the Russian involvement in the Central African Republic.
