For the second year running, the most comprehensive ranking of the world’s
leading think-tanks has named ECFR the ‘Best new think tank in the last 5
years’.

ECFR is also listed as one of the best think tanks in the
world outside the US.

The ranking is based on a worldwide survey of hundreds of scholars and
experts who have examined over 6,300 think tanks in almost 170 countries and
ranked them in different categories.

The survey, ‘The
Global “Go-To Think-Tanks” 2009’
is carried out under the
leadership of Dr James McGann at the University
of Pennsylvania.

The European Council on Foreign Relations does not take collective positions. ECFR publications only represent the views of their individual authors.
