Zine Labidine Ghebouli is a visiting fellow with the Middle East and North Africa programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations. He is a consultant and scholar on Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and Algerian politics, including as a non-resident fellow at the Arab Reform Initiative. Previously, he worked for the Middle East Institute and the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship.
Ghebouli holds an Erasmus Mundus double MA in south European studies from the University of Glasgow and European and international studies from Aix-Marseille Université. He is also a graduate of the American University of Beirut, where he specialised in political studies and international law.
