Pia Jakobi

Pia Jakobi is a senior communications officer at the European Council on Foreign Relations, based in the Berlin office. Before joining ECFR, she worked as a programme communications manager on digital communications and public affairs at the German Children and Youth Foundation and as a project manager for brand marketing and strategic communication at Berlin-based agency sbstnz (formerly Proof & Sons). Prior to that, Jakobi was an intern in the global dialogue programme of BMW Foundation in Berlin. 

Jakobi holds an MA in political science and English from the university of Mainz, where she focused on international relations and European integration. Furthermore, she studied political science and public administration at the university of Valencia, Spain, and is a fully trained paramedic.
