Biography
Larissa Schuurman is the deputy director for strategic partnerships at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Before joining ECFR, Larissa worked at Transparency International (TI) since 2008 in a number of different roles. Most recently she headed TI’s membership accreditation and compliance process for over 100 affiliated partners (locally established, independent organisations), coordinating with the international Board of Directors. Prior to that, she led TI’s advocacy work on corruption in humanitarian and development aid. She also has experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning, grant administration, and strategy and programme design, with a focus on good governance in organisational/NGO management, humanitarian aid, aid effectiveness, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, mining and education. Larissa also has experience working in international trade fairs and marketing.
She holds a BA in European Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London and a MA of International Relations and Politics from the University of Sydney, Australia.
