Irene Sánchez is the Madrid office assistant at the European Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to joining ECFR, she worked as an intern at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Berlin and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung regional programme Alliances for Democracy and Development with Latin America.
Sánchez holds a MA in international war studies from the Potsdam University and University College Dublin, and a BA in criminology from the University of Granada.
