Iben Tybjærg Schacke-Barfoed is chief of communications and administration at Think Tank Europa. She is responsible for the strategic planning and communication of its activities and analyses to decision makers and the general population. Schacke-Barfoed advises Think Tank Europa’s management and employees on communication, events and coordinates the press efforts.
She has previously worked as clerk for the European Affairs Committee and head of the EU Information in the Danish Parliament. She was also chief consultant in the Danish ministry of foreign affairs. Schacke-Barfoed has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen. She also studied in IEP in Grenoble, France and at Columbia University, US.
