Elsa Scholz

Elsa Scholz is a programme assistant for ECFR’s Middle East and North Africa programme, based in the Berlin office. She joined ECFR in 2022 as an intern at the programme.

She completed an internship with ALQST for Human Rights in London and the European Academy Bavaria in Munich.

Scholz holds an MA in Near and Middle Eastern studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies University of London and a BA in Arabic and Islamic studies from the University of Vienna. She studied Arabic at the Institut Français du Proche-Orient in Beirut.
