Angela Ziccardi is the Rome office assistant at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Prior to joining ECFR, she worked as project manager with EU-funded projects in the field of higher education. Angela holds a double MA in ‘Crossing the Mediterranean: towards investment and integration’ at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and University Paul Valery of Montpellier. She also gained research experience while studying in Tunisia and conducting field research in Turkey, investigating the securitization processes of Syrian refugees in Turkish politics. Her areas of interest cover geopolitics of the MENA region and its socio-economic and migratory implications, mainly in Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey.
