Biography
Alba Lamberti was the deputy director of the European Council on Foreign Relations and the head of ECFR’s London office from the beginning to March 2024. She oversaw ECFR’s operations, coordinated the network of ECFR offices across Europe, and led the engagement with the Board of Trustees.
Prior to her time at ECFR, she spent five years at the International Crisis Group in Brussels as EU advocacy manager responsible for institutional relations with the European Union, NATO, and civil society organisations. After graduating from the LUISS University in Rome in international relations and from the College of Europe in Natolin with an MA in European studies, she worked at the College of Europe in Bruges and in former European Commission president Romano Prodi’s group of policy advisors in Brussels.
