European Council on Foreign Relations, together with the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria and The European Parliament Liaison Office in Bulgaria, are organizing a conference on The Threat of Foreign Interference: European Elections 2019.

The foreign interference in elections is a very dangerous tool used by unethical global actors. The threats were already analysed and processed by countries like Germany, France, and the Netherlands who audited their election process and took effective measures to guard their publics from misinformation. However, many European member states like Bulgaria remain unprepared for those threats.
