ECFR's Japan in Europe Forum was created to rekindle the relationship and understanding between decision makers of Japan and Europe. At the forum different topics have been addressed in various sessions such as public opinion on Japan in Europe, reconciliation process in East Asia, European foreign policy towards Japan and East Asia, trade and investment between Japan and Europe and its implications, culture as transporter of soft power, cooperation in multilateral institutions, and future agenda for the EU-Japan cooperation.
