Fyodor Lukyanov discussed what 2016 holds for Russian foreign policy, ranging from events in Ukraine, the ongoing hostilities in Syria, the future of the Eurasian Union and the EU relationship with Russia.

Fyodor Lukyanov is editor-in-chief of the journal Russia in Global Affairs and Chairman of Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy. He is also research director of the Valdai Discussion Club.

Kadri Liik is Senior Policy Fellow at ECFR specialising in Russian domestic and foreign policy and relations with the West. Her most recent commentary has been on what to expect from Russia in Syria and how to talk with Russia.
