Roundtable discussion on Iran

ECFR and IAI hosted a debate on the nuclear talks with Iran. Aniseh Bassiri, Lapo Pistelli and Riccardo Alcaro discussed the results of the latest round of negotiations and analysed the strategic implications for Europe, Russia, US and China and the role of Iran in the region.

On March 17-18th, the P5+1 talks (Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States plus Germany) have taken place in Istanbul.

According to Iran, the latest round of talks seemed to have met positive results.

What are we supposed to expect from this new meeting? This and more issues concerning Iran and the region and its relations with Europe, the US, Russia and China have been discussed during the brainstoarming organized by the ECFR Rome Office and IAI.
