In recent years, the EU has taken a more ambitious foreign policy stance and declared its intention to become a geopolitical player and learn the language of power. The goal of this high-level event is to discuss ideas and recommendations that ECFR policy fellows Nicu Popescu and Gustav Gressel make in their 2020 policy brief on the security compact, and to extend these ideas to the Western Balkans.
