After President-elect Joe Biden’s victory at the US elections, the ECFR MENA team will host a fireside chat with Philip H. Gordon, former White House Coordinator for the Middle East and Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. The discussion will draw on Gordon’s new book, Losing the Long Game: The False Promise of Regime Change in the Middle East (reviewed by the NYTimes here), and will assess potential shifts in US policy across the region after the elections.
