Brown Bag Lunch Discussion on the impact of the European Parliament Elections

ECFR Berlin, along with the Mercator Foundation held a public debate on the impact of the European elections in the EU. The focus of the debate was on the structural consequences of what was called “a dual systemic revolution” against the traditional idea of EU integration. The first stage being the EPP coup on the Commission Presidency in 2004, while the second being the S&D coup along the Spitzenkandadaten line 10 years later.
