The European Council on Foreign Relations is delighted to invite you to  a round-table discussion with the UN’s Deputy Special Representative for Libya, Stephanie T. Williams, and ECFR policy fellow Tarek Megerisi, at our Berlin office.

At this critical juncture in Libya’s deepening civil-war, this invitation-only and off-the-record meeting will allow for a insightful and expansive conversation about the international dynamics surrounding the conflict, Germany’s attempts to advance the diplomatic process by convening an international conference in Berlin later this year, and the UN’s attempts to drive forward a much needed political process on the ground. What is now realistically possible and how can German mediation efforts at the international level best support the UN’s efforts to stop the war?

It would be a pleasure to welcome you for this discussion.

Warmest regards,

Tarek Megerisi
Policy Fellow, ECFR
