Objectives

The LGA’s objective is to promote a regional framework to enhance and develop mining, energy, hydraulic, agricultural, pastoral, and fisheries resources in the Liptako Gourma area. Since reform in 2017, it has aimed to enhance security cooperation between its member states, to prevent radicalisation, and to address intra- and extra-community conflicts.
