Asia’s Pandora Box

Why Conflicts in East Asia Matter for Europe

On 20 April, at 11.00am-12.30pm,  in the Stefan Batory Foundation, Sapiezynska 10a

In June 2014, European government officials, scientists, representatives of think tanks and journalists went to Japan for a week to hold talks with over 50 partners from Asia. One of the outputs of the study trip is the ECFR collection of essays, in which various Asian authors give their insights on topics such as economic and political interdependence, democracies in Asia and the issue of coming to terms with historical events.

The event will be accompanied by presentation of a new ECFR volume How do Asians see their Future.

The debate will be held in English only.

Please confirm your participation until April 17 via the registration form

Due to the limited number of seats, the organiser reserves rights to an early closure of the registration.
