Pietro Sala is a Pan-European Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, where he had previously been an intern in the Rome office.
Before joining ECFR, he worked on EU-funded citizenship education projects within the non-profit sector and completed an internship at the Department for European Policies of the Italian Government.
He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Pisa and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, an MA in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, and an MA in European Political and Governance Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
His main interests include EU foreign policy, European integration and citizen participation.
