Joseph de Weck is a senior fellow with the Institut Montaigne and associate fellow with the German Council on Foreign Relations. Joseph writes for Guardian Europe and is a columnist for the German foreign affairs magazine Internationale Politik Quarterly. He is also Europe director at Greenmantle, a macroeconomic and geopolitical advisory firm. In 2021, he published Emmanuel Macron: Der revolutionäre Präsident, a German-language essay on Macron’s first term and portrait for French society.
