Dawood has previously written articles on Iraqi political and security affairs for Niqash (Berlin), Alhayat (Beirut), Iraqi Media House, Emirates Policy Center (EPC) and Al-Mada (Baghdad). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Baghdad University.
