Biography
Dina Khadum is the programme assistant for ECFR’s Middle East and North Africa Programme, based in the Berlin office. Prior to joining ECFR, she worked in the gender commissioner’s team at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), focusing on gender equality in international development.
Khadum has worked at the nexus of European-Middle Eastern relations across a number of fields: from managing projects for displaced women in Iraq, to coordinating civil society organisations in Syria, to conducting research for Amnesty International’s Citizen Evidence Lab on human rights violations in Palestine and Iran.
She holds an MA in public policy from the Hertie School in Berlin, specialising in policy analysis, and a BA in European and Middle Eastern languages (German and Arabic) from the University of Oxford.
