Bernardo Bock is the Africa programme assistant based in the Berlin office of the European Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to joining ECFR, Bock worked for four years as a cultural officer at the Embassy of Portugal in Berlin. Previously, he worked as a non-immigrant visa assistant to the US Consulate in Lisbon and as an intern at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. Bock holds a master’s degree in international law and international relations from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon.
