Alba Gomez

Alba Gomez was deputy director for strategic partnerships at the European Council on Foreign Relations.

Gomez joined the development team at ECFR in September 2015 and supported the Asia & China programme, in addition to working with other ECFR offices. Prior to joining ECFR, Gomez worked for a charity for the development of grant applications with a focus on freedom of expression and human rights.

Previously, Gomez worked for a development consultancy on governance proposals for the European Commission, DFID, and other donors. She holds a Masters in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
