Operations Assistant

We are looking for a Berlin based Operations Assistant for a fixed-term employment of 2 years, starting as soon as possible.

Job purpose

ECFR is seeking a service-oriented and versatile individual who is well-organised and passionate about getting things done in a variety of operational and administrative fields, providing effective operational support to the Operations Team and to the organization.


  • Supporting Human Resources, including application co-ordination, organizing on- and offboarding, assisting on day-to-day matters
  • Controlling our IT support partner
  • Co-ordination of our Hard- and Software
  • Supporting Finance at expense report and invoice processing and organizational day-to-day matters
  • Administering of and reporting on central operational contracts
  • Document management and general work organization

Required skills

  • Relevant experience, preferably with completed professional education in an administrative role
  • Good knowledge and understanding of administrative matters and work organization
  • High social competence and organisational skills
  • High degree of ownership and service focus; reliable and quality driven; can-do approach
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; German a decisive plus
  • Good user knowledge of MS-Office (mainly Word, Excel)
