English language broadcast - 24/10/13

Following the newscast Frank Smith talks to Borja Lasheras, the Associate Director of the Madrid office of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a pan-European think tank, about what can be expected from the European Council meeting in Brussels. Then comes an interview with Dutch violinist Janine Jansen, who performs Brahms' Violin Concerto with Spain's National Orchestra. Then, continuing on a musical note, the focus is on two music groups that are performing in Madrid this week, the early music ensemble Vox Luminis, and the veteran British blues-rock band Ten Years After.
