Georgia to hold its first direct diplomatic talks with Russia

This week Georgia says it will hold its first direct diplomatic talks with Russia, since 2008. Russia has until now refused to engage in talks since the brief war over the South Ossetia region four years ago. Moscow has thousands of troops stationed in Abkhazia and South Ossetia - a situation Georgia considers an occupation. RFI spoke to a Tbilisi-based expert on Georgia's public policy.
