The Gatekeepers: Inside the minds of men who guard Israel

'The Gatekeepers' is a documentary film which provides a rare glimpse into life inside Shin Bet, Israel's internal security organization.

The film brings together, for the first time, six former heads of Shin Bet, some of whom are now outspoken opponents of Netanyahu's policies. They speak publicly about the morality of torture and terrorism, arrests and assassinations and the moral dilemmas they were faced with on a daily basis.

The BBC's Lyse Doucet was joined by Daniel Levy, the director of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations, Paul Charney, the chairman of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and by Dror Moreh, the director of 'The Gatekeepers'.
