In light of the recent tumultuous events in Crimea, what is Ukraine’s position on energy now? What would be the energy implications of a federalisation of Ukraine? And in the run-up to the next European Council in June, where the main topic will be energy security, what should the EU do to help? The panel will examine these and other questions in the context of uncertain prospects for Ukraine. 

Chi-Kong Chyong is an ECFR Visiting Fellow and Director of the Energy Policy Forum at the University of Cambridge. Before arriving at Cambridge he worked as a researcher at the National Academy of Sciences in Ukraine. 

Dan Lewis is Senior Adviser in Infrastructure Policy to the Institute of Directors. He is also Chief Executive of the Economic Policy Centre and Chief Executive of Future Energy Strategies.
