A final nuclear deal advances Europe’s interests in terms of addressing both non-proliferation concerns and regional security. If a deal is agreed, Europeans can play a key role in implementing it. But, Europe should devise a damage limitation plan in case of a breakdown caused by the twin stumbling blocks attempting to undercut these negotiations: hardliners in the Majlis and Congress.
