ECFR Berlin Welcome and Goodbye Ceremony

On October 5th, 2015 Josef Janning opened the ECFR Berlin Welcome an Goodbye ceremony in the presence of friends and acquaintances. 

ECFR Berlin thanks Olaf Boehnke for his years of committment and we wish him all the best for the future. Olaf Boehnke led the Berlin office for four years and now is moving to the European China Unit at the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS).

Together we celebrated the Berlin staff reinforcement: ECFR would like to extend a warm welcome to Almut Möller, who heads together with Josef Janning the ECFR Berlin office. Before joining the ECFR she led the programme at the German Council on foreign Relations. At the ceremony Almut Möller welcomed the guests quoting Goethe's famous “Welcome and Departure”. Furthermore we welcomed Dr. Thorsten Klaßen, Senior Director, Develpment at the ECFR and a member of ECFR's Management Team. 

We had a great time together and are happy to work together with our new team and continue feeding German positions on European issues into the pan-European debate.
