Andreas Müllerleile joined the ECFR as News Editor in January 2012.
Andreas is a media savvy EU specialist who has been involved in a variety of online projects and initiatives. He is the co-founder of bloggingportal.eu and has been an editor at Th!nk about it and Ideas on Europe. He previously worked for the European Foundation Centre in Brussels and interned at the Delegation of the European Commission to Romania as well as at the Goethe Institute in Bucharest. Andreas studied Politics, International Relations and media studies at the University of Münster (Germany) and is currently completing a PhD in European Studies at Loughborough University (UK). He is also a committee member and trustee of the University Association of Contemporary European Studies (UACES) where he advises the communication and media working group.
