Critics line up to rap Merkel over crisis

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, is facing growing clamour in Germany and abroad over what is perceived as her lack of urgency and indecision over the Greek financial crisis.

She is also under fierce fire from the conservative end of the German political spectrum for lending any money to Greece at all.

"In such a position, who would want to be in her situation?" says Ulrike Guerot, of the European Council on Foreign Relations. "Whatever is done now, it's a blame game." Click here for more.
