Clare Melford

Clare Melford is responsible for managing the transition of ECFR from being part of the Open Society Foundation to an independent, legally separate entity.

Clare is assisting in developing a new strategy for ECFR, putting in place a governance structure and a management team that can implement that new strategy, as well as the operational support required.

Clare also works for the human rights organisation the Nobel Women's Initiative nobelwomensinitiative.com and the creativity vs. climate change website Green Thing dothegreenthing.com.

Prior to ECFR Clare spent 8 years in the TV industry, most recently as Managing Director of MTV Networks in the Nordic region where she ran a network of 9 TV channels, associated websites and mobile TV stations across the four Nordic countries.
